This is proxy bidding broke down to view the pixels that make up the picture.  I think the pixels have to be understood for positive results.

All pictures are made up of pixels, just ask Chuck Close the famous pixel painting portrait artist.  In my world, when you break the big picture down to view the pixels, what you will see is not what it looks like from a distance.  In my opinion, it  can’t be understood without exposing the pieces that could make the proxy process successful.  If you don’t it’s like lying down in late afternoon traffic expecting not to get run over.

Some of the countless pixels needed to understand a proxy bid follow.  These points need to be part of process so the results are not a pin the tail on the donkey (Mr. Lazybones), adverse selection, mud front line, producing guarantee.  Thinking that the proxy will ever be a substitute for working your balls off at an

This is a note sent to me from an Auto Trader Trade in Marketplace Product Specialist.  When I designed the system it came from decades of experience in the wholesale industry and  what the difference between a guide book or MMR (cheerleader) and a check writer (a market maker), would do when placed in the hands of a dealership. I developed it knowing that dealerships would "get it" if they took the time to think about where the theory comes from how to use it in their circumstance in their dealership.  There are many different tentacles to my product and how it can be used.  The following is a perfect example of a Lexus dealer that “gets it” for his particular store.

Here is the note sent to me today:

I spent about an hour listening to a GSM at a Lexus store tell me how awesome our product was and how it was a perfect fit for his dealership. The funniest, but sad moment was when he asked me “why every

I am sitting at my desk  looking at the presale list at the largest auction in the world, the 17545.  There are 5,100 units registered for the sale.  R Hollenshead has 743 of those units.  We’ll end the day with 800.  Of the 800, 650 are cars that are units that are impossible to find, anywhere.  And, these little babies are all finding new owners by 4PM Friday, don’t mistake that fact.  The heavy work mis done.  You just have to hit the entr button.  Now that I wrote that, it don’t seem fair.  Why I got to do all the hard part, you just got to bid?  Oh well, that just part of the lot of being a dumb Irishman.  Work your simple self to death and hope to find a piece of bread and a beer.

I don’t know why, but a bunch of people ask me how I can stand on the block selling our wares like a nut, no break, no food, and never take a leak.

Now what in the world would cause

Make no mistake, this is no April Fool’s practical joke.  It looks like we are going to have 800 units this Friday.  I am trying not to brag, being a very humble individual that I am, but this is ridiculous.  I feel like Noah, of Noah’s Arc fame and fortune.

The difference is Noah had two of each, I got 50,70,90 of each.  200 when it comes to Toyota and Lexus.  90 when it comes to Audi and Porsche (you heard that right, 90 not 9, 90, all trades, no made up flunkies, trades), 100 BMW, Mercedes, trades, not lease hogs that flunked the shop.  90 Subys, Nissans and Infinities, trades, not reshuffled auction slugs.  90 low mile Domestics of all types including a Ford Truck parade. A pile of VWs with low miles.  20 Rovers, 20 Volvos, 150 mileage challenged imports and 50 mile challenged Domestics.

Go to Pre-sales at Manheim, Pa.  Sort By Hollenshead.  There are 610 tonight, by
