Such a shame for me, but a some great opportunities for you

Due to having our Thursday sale pulled out from under us we are in deep poo for Friday…way too many cars, spectacular stuff, but way too many.  Manheim has made it impossible to get reasonable numbers for Friday so the vast majority of our cars will be running deep into the afternoon.  The no-sale kings have pretty much chewed up all the numbers that show any respect (as insane as that seems) which leaves us out to dry.

We have well over 650+ cars running, no match for the volume and selection anywhere else in North America, and 500 of the will be running after the rest of the sale is over.

A select three hundred car Thursday afternoon sale is the answer but we need to find a host.  Since what I consider my home auction is unwilling to do it I am working a a solution that will be good for all of us.  It seems simply impossible to believe that we have to do this as any auction in the universe would do anything to host us, or at least give us numbers on a regular day, but this is the dilemma I have to find a solution to, and I will.

That said, Friday should be a perfect storm for a buyer  to pay attention because we have absolutely wild merch form the  lowest mile and highest price to the opposite extreme, all logically laid out.  This is a grouping  impossible to find anywhere or cumulatively anywhere.  Regards of circumstance you will participate as a buyer or observer in as close to an absolute sale as has ever been offered.  These hotdogs are going to have new owners by Friday afternoon.

The sale begins at 9AM in lane 24, 500 units,  and will be running until 5PM.  There are 350 low mile, spectacular imports in this lane.  All Car Fax cautions are clearly marked, grouped at an appropriate time of the lane not to confuse the “creamer” buyer.  As all of you know I am not in the hit and run business, I disclose what might make you look and feel stupid.  There are 50 in lane 6, all domestics, all clean Car Fax, and all low mile fat units that start to run afternoon starting on #116 ( they take forever in that lane with dog and pony shows that’s why they only run 35 units per hour.  Lane 24 will be on number 240 at the same time of the day…go figure).  Lane 23 we have 100 domestics that begin around 12:30.  These are units that are a bit higher mile domestics that are exactly what the used car dealer and mid-west dealer is dying for.

Got to go get ready for the show.  Do your research and put in the proxies.  Oh and go to BidNez.com to participate in a process that help you see what is for sale, what you think it’s worth, and then based or you bid, proxy or activated proxy, get your results back to help you understand reality…and if you are good, get paid.  You got it, get paid, you the user, not the dealership.  If you wi, you gat paid.  Go to BidNez, log in and bid on whatever you want to bid on.  Your bid can be activated if you want it to be or just part of the pricing process.  Either way it counts on your score to see if you are a winner.  it costs nothing to participate and you will love it.

Time to get your own auction, nothing fancy, just an auction. A couple auctioneers, a few guys (your dollup guys) to move the cars into the lanes, an open field, amall building to get in out of the weather. No sell fees, fair buyers fees, you simply have to do it. Time's up, you've outgrown the "big boy" auction. Get your son and get rolling.....
Locate it around Williamsport, you'll get ALL the action from Buffalo to Virginia, plus the internet guys.....or are you too old and tired?[smile]

You know I am fat, old and tired, but nuts as well and not anywhere close to doing what my wife is begging me to do...pack it in...not happening. Too much fire and having way too much fun. Just totally flabbergasted by the auction I have been 100% loyal to for 43 years. Can't understand, so we have to find the solution. I promise you I'll find it, with them, or if there is no other solution, without them, not by my choice. Some great options are brewing.
